Two former musicians of progrock giant Focus, Bobby Jacobs (bass) and Jan Dumée (guitar) have created their Tristan & Chloé project: a musical trip with romance, lyrical and shrill melodies inspired by, amongst other things, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, Impressionism & pop music.

Their time in this Dutch legacy has been very instructive, although they also involved with completely different musical qualities in entirely different musical fields. Jacobs and Dumée have been composers since they met each other in Highschool for Music & Dance in Rotterdam.

With Tristan & Chloé they have the opportunity to create new jewels blended with an unique flavor made choice of the other musicians. The eclectic voice of the Greek vocalist Maria Markesini will play an important part in the signature of the group. With the input of old school- and soulmates pianist & organist Edwin Beekmans, drummer Greg Smith and the participation of several guest musicians the project has fully complemented their taste.
